Lights in Finland with the president

In connection with the preparations for the establishment of Lysir Nordic OY in Finland, we had the opportunity to accompany the President of Iceland and her husband on an official visit to Finland on 7 and 8 October 2025. The trip was a welcome one for us in Lýsir, as work was underway to establish a subsidiary of Lýsir in Finland, and we used these days to strengthen and deepen our ties with the data center market in that country. A business delegation led by Íslandsstofa accompanied us, along with representatives of 25 companies in the fields of energy, high-tech and the gaming industry.

We can honestly say that this was a very successful trip in every way and gave us the opportunity to introduce ourselves and our activities as well as strengthen ties with the business community, both here at home and in Finland.
