Visiting the Technical College

At Lýsir, we regularly receive visits from curious and inquisitive students from the school system. On November 26th, we had 13 third-year electrical engineering students from the Technical School visit us along with their teacher Sigurður and they received, in our opinion and hopefully theirs too, the finest reception. We did our best to try to educate, entertain and pass on our fiber optic faith to the next generation and in addition to lectures, demonstrations and unsuccessful jokes so early in the day, they got to splice fiber optic cables together and most of them did well. We thank the Technical School very much for coming.
